Alexey Sokolov

Alexey is a Solution Architect at Grid Dynamics, where he leads the design and development of scalable backend applications and cloud-based solutions throughout their full lifecycle. He actively supports the company’s technological growth and community presence by teaching courses, delivering public talks, and mentoring through Grid University. Alexey specializes in production-ready backend systems and led architecture design for online web store projects on the Shopify platform. His technical expertise spans Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Azure Cloud, and modern distributed systems. Alexey holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Automation and Control from Saratov State Technical University.
